Market Reports

Tomato Overview

May 3rd, 2021

Demand is good. Market is higher. Florida has finished the Immokalee crop and started on the
Ruskin/Palmetto crop. We expect the bulk of that deal to happen this week and next. Florida is
experiencing high temps, that will push the crop forward and produce less big fruit. As Nogales
comes to an end, there are less tomatoes available, which has pushed fob’s higher. San Diego has
begun picking romas and grapes. Indio, CA. will begin May 10
th. Northern CA. will start June 15th.
